Apple has been a major player in mobile technology for the last decade or so.
Now it’s going to shift gears a little.
According to sources, Apple may not release its next smartphone until 2017.
That’s a bit late in the game for some people, but Apple doesn’t want to be the company that missed out on its opportunity to launch its first product, the iPhone, in 2012.
In the last few years, Apple has become the company to beat when it comes to developing and launching innovative products.
With that in mind, it’s not entirely surprising that Apple is now working on a new phone, and Apple might not release the first iPhone until sometime in the next few years.
While we don’t know for sure, Apple’s not the only company making phone announcements at this time.
According, there’s a new rumor circulating that the next iPhone will feature a quad-core processor.
That processor, however, isn’t Apple’s chip.
Instead, it’ll be Qualcomm’s chip, which is currently powering the iPhone 5.
That could be a good thing for Apple, as Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 chip has been used on a number of other products over the years, including the iPhone 4S.
Qualcomm is the company behind Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, which was announced at CES in January.
According the new rumor, Qualcomm’s chips will be in the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 8, iPhone X, and the upcoming iPhone XR.
So while the chip may not be directly tied to the iPhone’s architecture, it could still help Apple’s design and development efforts.
That said, Apple hasn’t released its next phones since 2012.
If it does release a new smartphone in 2017, it may not use the same processor as the iPhone.
Apple might be moving forward with its first smartphone at the same time as it’s working on another new product, like a tablet.
As for how it’ll do that, Apple isn’t giving any details just yet.
While Apple hasn, in the past, revealed specs on the upcoming Apple Watch Series 2, it hasn’t said much about the new Apple Watch.
While it may be a bit of a surprise to many, we think the Watch will feature Qualcomm’s next chip.
According one source, the new watch could have the same Qualcomm chip as the Apple Watch, although we don to know what that chip is yet.
We’ll keep you posted on any new information we learn about the next Apple Watch from this week.
