A honey mustard pretZel is one of my favorite pretzel creations, and I’ve made this recipe before.
In this post, I’ll share the best ingredients you need for this pretzel, as well as how to make it vegan and gluten-free.
I use my favorite honey mustard recipe from the blog Sugar, Spice, and Gluten: 4 Ingredient Honey Pretzel, which uses only a handful of ingredients and tastes fantastic.
In order to make this recipe gluten- and vegan-friendly, you’ll need: 1 tablespoon honey (I use maple syrup) 1 tablespoon sugar 1 tablespoon corn starch 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper Directions 1.
Combine honey, sugar, corn starch, baking powder, salt, and freshly ground pepper in a small bowl.
Add the flour and mix until just combined.
Add in the melted butter and mix on medium speed until just incorporated.
Add remaining ingredients.
Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Recipe Notes You can substitute 1 cup of honey mustard or maple syrup for maple syrup and substitute 1/3 cup of corn starch for corn starch.
This pretzel also contains honey mustard flavoring.
